What areas does S & S Foundation, Inc. serve?

The big bend area which includes Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla counties. The principal city in the region is Tallahassee.
Is S & S Foundation Inc. (SSF) and the Southern Scholarship Foundation (SSF) the same?

No
Will I have to pay for anything?

Only the reduced rent and the financial coaching services are all free.
Are there any membership dues?

No
Can I use the financial coaching only and not the reduced housing portion?

Yes, only if we recommend it.
What can I expect after joining the Advancing Homeownership program?

Immediate access to free virtual financial coaching sessions and resources. If the housing portion is included, you will move into one of the housing units available.
When will the home repair services become available?

TBD, as funding is available. Right now, the focus is on financial/homeownership education and housing.
How long can I stay in the house?

Up to 18 months or less. The goal is to have you ready for homeownership and be in a solid position to purchase a home.
Can SSF help with finding a lender and house for purchase?

Yes, we can offer preferred lenders and provide a list of Realtors.
How can I get on the waiting list?

Take our survey, and you will automatically be placed on the list.
