S&S Foundation Fundraising Campaign: Building Homes, Building Futures
At S&S Foundation (SSF), we’ve dedicated ourselves to transforming lives through sustainable homeownership. Imagine a single mother of three who once faced homelessness. Thanks to SSF, she and her children now have a stable roof over their heads. She’s receiving financial coaching and is well on her way to achieving homeownership, securing a brighter future for her family. Yet, the demand is overwhelming—our waiting list includes over 400 families, all seeking the same opportunity.
Our vision is a world where everyone has access to safe, stable, and free resources to gain affordable housing. Our mission is to empower homeless individuals with income, low to moderate-income families, and veterans to achieve sustainable homeownership through education, support, and access to resources. We don’t just provide shelter; we create lasting change, ensuring those we help can sustain homeownership and thrive in their communities.
We are launching our most ambitious project yet, seeking to raise $1,000,000 to acquire land and build modular homes. These funds will be allocated as follows:
Land Acquisition ($300,000): Purchasing land in Leon and Gadsden counties to establish a community where families can find stability and hope.
Modular Homes ($500,000): Constructing 10 high-quality, energy-efficient modular homes at $50,000 each, directly providing safe, affordable housing.
Infrastructure and Utilities ($150,000): Developing essential infrastructure to ensure these homes are ready for immediate occupancy.
Program Support ($50,000): Offering ongoing support, including financial coaching, home maintenance education, and community-building activities.
Your support will directly impact over hundreds of generation, providing them not just with a house but a home where they can build stable and prosperous futures.
